About Me

My name is Rebecca and I am the oldest of seven children. I have had the blessing of growing up in a Christ centered home with parents who love the Lord and each other. I was homeschooled from preschool all the way through highschool. I 'teach' preschool to my two youngest siblings and work from home selling books online.

Having grown up in a Christian home I knew at a very young age that I was condemned forever because of my sin (Romans 3:23). I had a debt that I could never hope to repay (Romans 6:23). Only through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, shed on the cross at Calvary, could my slate be wiped clean (Romans 5:8 and John 3:16). It was when I was seven years old that I took this truth for my own and accepted the salvation that Christ freely offers to all (Ephesians 2:8-9). Though my decision was sincere I did not fully understand what it meant to be a child of God. When I was thirteen I began to understand that salvation is so much more than just forgiveness and the promise of a home in Heaven, it's a relationship with God! It is then that I re-dedicated my life to Christ and the Lord started molding, shaping me, and I began to grow in Him. I am still learning what it means to belong to Christ, the Lord is such a patient Teacher. He is daily showing me more about Himself and I know He's not finished with me yet (Philippians 1:6)!

Some of the things that I enjoy doing include: reading, doing any sort of craft, playing the flute, helping my Mom, and serving the Lord at summer camps.
